WHAT CARE DOES
A catalog changes after its first review. Care repeats supported checks on a schedule and tells you when a new supported issue is detected. The plan card above shows whether it can be bought now.
On a schedule, FeedGuard opens supported product pages and images and compares the live price, stock status and image with your catalog. A large catalog can take several runs. Pages that block our check or cannot be reached because of network errors are marked as not checked. Pages reported as not found or gone, and password-protected pages, are reported as issues.
When a new mismatch or missing detail is detected, you get an email listing the affected products and what to fix. Checks are periodic and do not reproduce Google’s systems or guarantee a warning before a disapproval.
Download a Google feed built from your latest checked catalog, with brand and variant details taken from your own data. You upload it to Merchant Center yourself; FeedGuard does not submit it.
BEFORE YOU START
Your first successful file check uses your single free allowance. Selecting a file or receiving a validation error does not use it. Your account keeps the successful catalog and its latest checked version. If an import response is interrupted, check your saved catalog before retrying.
Yes. Export a product CSV from Shopify and upload it to FeedGuard for your free catalog check. You do not need a store connection or a paid plan. Review the revised file before importing it back into Shopify; downloading a file does not update your store.
Review formatting suggestions or edit supported fields. You can also choose another column in this file to fill empty, editable titles, descriptions, product links or image links. Each proposed value shows its source row and column for you to verify. Blank references and conflicting values for a shared field are skipped. These values come from your file; FeedGuard does not fetch or invent product facts. Rechecks and downloads of the saved catalog are included. A new, unrelated catalog is not included in the same allowance.
No. The allowance belongs to your account and is recorded on the server. Refreshing, signing out or deleting a saved report does not renew it.
For a Shopify CSV upload, use the catalog CSV export. Review the changes and remaining findings before importing it yourself. A direct Shopify import is currently saved as FeedGuard JSON, not a Shopify reimport file. The separate report JSON contains technical audit details. FeedGuard never sends these changes to your store.
It means no issues were detected within these file checks. FeedGuard does not confirm live stock, actual prices, barcode ownership or channel approval. Missing source information stays visible so you can verify it.
The plan cards show what can be bought now: a plan that is open has a subscribe button, and one that is not open yet offers early access instead. FeedGuard Fix is US$9.99 per month and FeedGuard Care is US$29.99 per month, for businesses and sole proprietors in the United States buying for business use. No sales tax is added to these subscription prices. The total is shown before you confirm payment. Before any payment you confirm your business details, the price and the subscription Terms, and a subscription never starts when you register or from the free check.
