Suitable product data
Use FeedGuard only for product information you own or are authorized to process. Keep order and customer exports, buyer records, sensitive personal information, credentials and regulated data out of uploaded catalogs; a product catalog is welcome, a list of customers or orders is not. A product catalog can still contain personal information, for example in a custom column; review your files before choosing a workflow.
Three different workflows
The CSV comparison tool reads two files in your browser and compares their values using the identifier you choose. It does not send those file contents to FeedGuard, store them in an account or alter a shop. Clearing the tool or reloading discards its in-memory comparison; a downloaded result remains on your device.
The file check without an account sends your file to the application server to create a preview, including up to five examples from your file shown back to you. The file is analysed in memory and not saved in the account or application database; limited security counters and hosting request metadata exist, as the Privacy Notice explains.
Running an account catalog check sends the catalog and supplied context to the application server and saves a successful catalog and report in your account. A supported store connection has separate permissions and availability. Read the Privacy Notice for account data, service providers, cookies, retention and data requests.
Processing agreements
A separate customer Data Processing Addendum is not currently offered through this website. The Terms ask you not to submit personal data about your customers, so FeedGuard is not set up to process personal data on your behalf; if that changes for a product or customer, the roles of the parties and whether an addendum is needed will be decided and stated before any such data is accepted. This information page is not a signed processing agreement or a set of agreed security, residency or deletion commitments.
If your organization requires a processing agreement, a particular data location or specific controls, contact us before uploading information subject to those requirements. Do not assume that using the free service establishes those additional terms.
