MERCHANT CENTER FIX GUIDES

Fix “Missing product price” in Google Merchant Center

Typical Merchant Center message: Missing product price

Reviewed October 14, 2026 against Google’s published rules.

Google needs a valid price for every product. Products without one do not show in ads or free listings until a price is added, and the price and currency must match the price on the product page.

Common causes

  1. The price is blank for some products or variants in the file or data source Google reads.
  2. The price is not valid: Google’s price attribute expects an amount and a currency written the way its guidelines describe.

How to fix it

  1. In Merchant Center, open Products, then the Needs attention tab, and filter for this issue.
  2. Add a valid price to each affected product: open it and choose Edit product, or correct the value in your own product data.
  3. Write the price as an amount with a currency code, for example 24.00 USD, and make sure both match the price on the product page.
  4. To fix many products at once, download the .csv list of affected products from the Needs attention tab, correct your product data and re-upload it.
  5. Google says it can take 24–72 hours for a fix to leave the Needs attention list.
